The Homeboard or House Committee manages the affairs of the hall, canteen and overall building maintenance and upkeep. The voting members include seven (7) members. Meetings are held monthly and all members are invited to attend.
Meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of the month at least one (1) hour before the regular Post Meeting, until further notice.
Regular meetings of the Board shall be held at least ONCE a month, with time and day to be set by the Board and notification of same to be sent to all members in good standing of the Post at least seven (7) days prior to the first meeting and shall be held at the same time and day each month for the ensuing year. Any other changes to this stated schedule must be sent to all Post members in good standing at least fifteen (15) days prior to the change. The House committee may at its discretion vote at its first scheduled meeting to hold more than one regular meeting per month, and follow the procedure of notification as stated above. Other such meetings of the board may be called from time to time by the President, or any two (2) directors, or by the Secretary at the request of the President, to be held at South Denver Post 2461, or at any other location as may be determined by the Committee, by delivery of a written, printed, personal oral contact, telephone, of each directors last known residence, at least five (5) days prior to the date of said meeting, provided, however, that prior notice may be waived by any member not receiving such notice, by their written consent filed with the minutes of such meeting.
